Ingegneria Sismica (ISSN 0393-1420 (Print); 3103-3997 (Online)) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal founded in 1984 by Professor D. Benedetti at the Politecnico di Milano. Originally published by Pàtron Editore S.r.l., the journal transitioned to a new publisher, MedinLin Soft, in 2017, see announcement. The journal is dedicated to publishing original research and advancements in earthquake engineering and related fields. All submissions undergo a rigorous, anonymous peer-review process to ensure the highest academic standards and quality. Ingegneria Sismica is widely recognized and indexed in leading databases, including Scopus, Ei Compendex (Engineering Village), the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) within the Web of Science, and Essential Science Indicators (ESI), underscoring its strong international presence and scholarly impact. Starting in 2024, Ingegneria Sismica is published as a Diamond Open Access journal, offering free access to readers and charging no fees to authors, thereby promoting the widest possible dissemination of high-quality research.
