Roberto Nascimbene Joins the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Roberto Nascimbene, Associate Professor at the University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) Pavia, has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica.

Prof. Nascimbene, born in 1974, earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Pavia, where he has been teaching courses such as Shells and Tanks Analysis and Design and Analysis and Design of Steel Structures since 2005. He previously served as Head of the Building and Infrastructure Department at Eucentre.

With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, four co-authored books, and extensive experience in seismic vulnerability assessment, steel and concrete structures, robustness, and progressive collapse analysis, Prof. Nascimbene brings outstanding expertise to our journal.

He actively contributes to national and European technical committees, including UNI/CT 021/SC 03 Steel Structures, UNI/CT 021/GL 06 Robustness, and Project Team SC8.T5 for the evolution of EN 1998-4 and EN 1998-6. His professional involvement also extends to the Regional Seismic Commission of Lombardia and the Council of the Order of Engineers in Pavia.
