We are pleased to announce that Prof. Quan Jiang, Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica.
Prof. Jiang holds a doctorate in Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and is a distinguished researcher at the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, CAS. His primary research focuses on the stability analysis of underground engineering, with expertise in:

Quantitative description and parameterization of natural rock joints and the unloading failure of rock masses.

Stability analysis and support design for deep and large underground caverns.
With over 6,000 citations, an h-index of 44, and more than 200 publications, Prof. Jiang’s academic contributions are widely recognized in the fields of Mining Engineering and Geology. His insights will greatly contribute to the journal’s mission of advancing earthquake engineering and related disciplines.
