We are pleased to announce that Prof. Ileana Corbi, Professor of Structural Mechanics at the Department of Civil, Building, and Environmental Engineering, University of Naples “Federico II,” has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica.
Prof. Corbi has an extensive academic and research background in the field of Structural Mechanics, with expertise spanning seismic engineering, structural dynamics and control, seismic isolation design, and the structural restoration of monumental heritage. She has authored and co-authored over 120 scientific publications in journals, books, and conference proceedings, and has been actively involved in numerous national and international research projects funded by institutions such as the European Union, CNR, and Protezione Civile.
Her distinguished career includes membership in prestigious scientific bodies such as ICOMOS, ISCARSAH, ASCE, and IASS, as well as active participation in doctoral programs and advanced professional training.
