Dr. Naser Khaji Joins the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica

We are delighted to announce that Professor Naser Khaji , Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University, has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica (ISSN 0393-1420).

Professor Naser holds a Doctor of Engineering from The University of Tokyo and a Master of Science from Tarbiat Modares University, following a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tehran. His distinguished academic journey includes earning his Ph.D. in Japan in 2001 and returning in 2019 to begin his current role at Hiroshima University, after serving at Tarbiat Modares University where he was promoted to full professorship in 2013.

His research spans a wide range of fields, including:

  • Health monitoring of infrastructures

  • Soil-structure-fluid interaction

  • Computational structural dynamics and seismic wave propagation

  • Inverse problems in structural dynamics and earthquake engineering

  • Numerical methods in computational mechanics

  • Seismic hazard analysis

Professor Naser’s expertise also covers complex systems, safety system science, natural disaster prevention, human informatics, soft computing, and high-performance computing.

We are confident that Professor Naser’s deep knowledge and international experience will be an asset to the journal and will contribute significantly to advancing its mission in earthquake engineering and disaster resilience.
