Professor Naser holds a Doctor of Engineering from The University of Tokyo and a Master of Science from Tarbiat Modares University, following a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tehran. His distinguished academic journey includes earning his Ph.D. in Japan in 2001 and returning in 2019 to begin his current role at Hiroshima University, after serving at Tarbiat Modares University where he was promoted to full professorship in 2013. We are pleased to announce that Professor Hong-Hu Zhu has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica (ISSN 0393-1420). Prof. Zhu is a distinguished scholar in engineering geology and geotechnics at Nanjing University, China, where he serves as Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department and Dean of the Institute of Earth Exploration and Sensing. He received his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has since established himself as a leading researcher in fiber optic monitoring, geohazard stability evaluation, and smart geotechnical sensing technologies. Prof. Jiang holds a doctorate in Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and is a distinguished researcher at the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, CAS. His primary research focuses on the stability analysis of underground engineering, with expertise in: Quantitative description and parameterization of natural rock joints and the unloading failure of rock masses. We are pleased to announce that Prof. Roberto Nascimbene, Associate Professor at the University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) Pavia, has joined the Editorial Board of Ingegneria Sismica. Prof. Nascimbene, born in 1974, earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Pavia, where he has been teaching courses such as Shells and Tanks Analysis and Design and Analysis and Design of Steel Structures since 2005.
