With the advent of globalization, piano has become a typical sample of music culture globalization. Throughout the development of piano in various countries in the world, it keeps its internal structure unchanged on the basis of integration with various ethnic music, piano music is more and more diverse. Iranian piano music is a contemporary piano music compositions created by Iranian musicians on the basis of their traditional music system. This paper takes the piano compositions of Mostezâ Mâhjubi, an Iranian pianist and composer, as an example to explore how the piano, as a cross-border instrument, reflects the aesthetic characteristics of Iranian music culture. At the same time how does it reflect the process of nationalization of piano music culture.
